These tools can do jobs like, cutting, angle cutting, grooving, slotting, planning and thickness planning, designing, three side planning, drilling etc. Universal Woodworking Machine is capable of engaging multiple operations at a time. Hence, the machine is universal in itself, capable of doing nearly all the operations, which a small workshop of and wood requires.
