Fuel types licensed for storage and/or transport in Holtec MPCs include PWR, BWR, VVER-400, VVER-1000, and RBMK fuel. The sealed MPC consists of a honeycombed fuel basket and a cylindrical canister shell, the MPC Enclosure Vessel.
