Motion sensor senses the motion of human body by the change in surrounding ambient temperature, when human body passes across. Then it turns on the lighting load to which it is connected. The lighting Load stays on as long as the sensor senses the movement. Once the movement is stopped it waits for any further movement for the set delay time (10 sec to 4 min). It there is no movement observed during the delay, it turns off the lighting load presuming that there is no one in the rooOne of the very useful features of these sensors is the Lux control. (Day and Night Mode). Lux control can be set in Day mode or Night Mode. In Night mode the Sensor does not allow the lighting load to be turned on if there is sufficient sunlight. Night mode is useful for out door applications when the lighting load will be kept off when there is sufficient sunlight and will turn on in the night. In case of the Indoor applications if you want to bypass this feature the Lux control should be kept in Day Mode.
