Miphocal Injection

Miphocal Injection (Calcium Borogluconate Injection with Magnesium and Phosphorous) is used in dairy animals when there is low blood levels of Calcium or associated deficiencies of Magnesium and or Phosphorous. Miphocal is used for the treatment of metabolic diseases such as milk fever due to hypoglycaemia or when it is associated with hypomagnesaemia and hypophosphataemia..

DESCRIPTION :
Miphocal is a sterile solution of Calcium Borogluconate with Magnesium and Phosphorous in an organic combination and dextrose.

COMPOSITION :
Calcium Gluconate (Equivalent to Calcium 1.86% w/v) I.P. : 20.80 % w/v
Boric Acid I.P. : 4.25% w/v
Magnesium Hypophosphite I.P : 5.00% w/v
Anhydrous Dextrose I.P. : 20.00% w/v
Chlorocresol (as Preservative) I.P. : 0.1 % w/v
Water for Injection I.P. : q.s.

ADMINISTRATION :
Calcium Borogluconate Injection with Magnesium and Phosphorous may be administered by Subcutaneous or slow intravenous route.
DOSAGE :
Cows and Buffaloes : 200 ml to 300 ml
Ewes, Does and Sows : 30 ml to 50 ml
PRESENTATION :
Miphocal Injection is available in 450 ml pack in amber colour glass bottles and FFS bottles.
