Minoxidil tablets (5mg) are a medication that falls under the class of drugs known as vasodilators. It is primarily used to treat severe and symptomatic high blood pressure (hypertension) that has not responded to other medications. Primary Use (FDA-Approved): Treatment of severe hypertension. It works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, which allows blood to flow more easily and lowers blood pressure.
