The easy-to-program (only 35 single word instructions) CMOS Flash-based 8-bit microcontroller packs Microchip's powerful PICAR MCU architecture into an 8-pin package and features 4 channels for the10-bit Analogue-to-Digital (A/D) converter, 1-channel comparator and 128bytes of EEPROM data memory. The data memory is partitioned into two banks, which contain the general purpose registers and the special function registers. The special function registers are located in the first 32 locations of each bank.
