Features

Durga Machinery Works [DMW] designs are convenient model for various applications, for easy handling of material enabling an individual to operate the machine independently and auto feed can also be provided for increased production. The advantages on inclining the machine to the back is that the material falls with weight of gravity itself which allows easy low cost work ability with smooth handling of component and scrap.

The design as such ensures toughness to bear excessive jerks & load thus eliminating chances of any deflection during operation, Besides box type slide gives additional grip for self alignment & accuracy plus strengthening structure of frame.

Design of four side gib ram with ram hole & T slots gives additional gripping for self alignment for longer life eliminating chances of wear and tear of punch and die ends.

Standard Features

Knock-out bar stands provided for top ejection of material conveniently adjustable from left & right.
Research system for quick & easier setting of dies from pressure screw has greater smoothness.
For convenient setting of various dies, additional Bed Plate Stands provided with center hole as per requirement and 'T' slot.
Jack for inclining the machine is provided to bear load & easy operation to allow the matter to fall at the back.

Constructions

Durga presses are available in Capacities 10 M. Tonne to 250 M. Tonne in Various types like Un Geared, Geared, Double Geared, Inclinable, Non-Inclinable or Permanently Inclinable types of models.
Frame	The Frame is fabricated from solid plates with heavy cross ribbing. The neutral axis of the gap cross section is located so as to give a balanced distribution of stresses over the section.
Clutch	The clutch is pin/rolling key type, rigid & well supported made out of alloy steel & heat treated. It gives trouble free continuous stroke for mass production.
Shaft & Bearings	Eccentric shaft made from normalized medium carbon steel & ground finished on bearing surface. Heavy walled nickel-phosphorous bronze bushes with proper grooving arrangement maintain an adequate spread of the lubricating oil.
Brake	Brake is powerful and it works on the top dead centre and compensated by springs.
Slide / Ram & Table	An accurate machined heavy duty "V" shape properly seasoned graded cast iron guide provides stability to ram. Both the slides are manually scrapped for correct alignment, smoother operation & reduced wear. Table & Ram are perfectly aligned, to each other to obtain high accuracy & precision press operation.
Gears	Gears are made out of Cast Steel. Gear teeth are generated on precision hobbing machine.
Flywheel	Properly sized flywheel is made of high grade cast iron. It works for storing and releasing adequate energy for pressing operation which is properly balanced for smooth running.
Inclinable Mechanism	Inclinable mechanism can be easily set & locked in position by spanners within minutes. The press is so designed that in maximum inclined position, it is stable under heavy pressing load (optional).
Centralized Automatic Lubrication	Main bearings, connecting link bearings, guide ways etc. are lubricated automatic lubricator provides lubricant under pressure to each point separately (optional).
Accuracy	Bearing surfaces of slide guides, slide face & top face of bed are scrapped to geo-metrical alignment as per IS:4592-1968 scope of gape frame presses/Prof. Schlesinger limits of accuracy. This standard, coupled with the rigidity of the frame ensures more precise stamping with longer die life.
