Curing compound is applied when the finishing is completed and free water present on the surface gets disappeared. The curing compound is applied through spraying pipe as shown in above figure with constant rate of pressure. Generally, one liter of curing compound can be sprayed for 0.20 AcA A 0.25 m2 surface area of fresh concrete. In small areas, we can also use brushes or paint rollers to apply curing compound.

Surface Preparation :- Application equipment must be clean and free of any previously used materials. Mixing :- Any settling or separation in the container must be re-dispersed with gentle agitation prior to use. Application Method :- Spray on in one even coat with a hand or power sprayer. Drying Time :- Typically dries in two hours, depending on jobsite conditions (temperature, wind, etc.). Restrict foot traffic for at least four hours. Cleanup :- Immediately clean tools, equipment and overspray with soap and warm water.
