Anatase titanium dioxide, chemical name titanium dioxide, molecular tio2, molecular weight 79.88. White powder, relative density 3.84. Melting point is 1560 a,,f. Water absorption O.02%. High temperature (> 700 a,,f) heat into rutile type crystal. Melting point of about 1800 a,,f. Refractive index 2.55. Average particle size is 0.15 ~ 0.23um. Mohs hardness of 5 ~ 6. Stable chemical properties, light resistance, heat resistance, dilute acid, dilute alkali. Has a strong coloring power (hiding power) and dispersive force. The durability is not as good as the rutile titanium dioxide, the light resistance is poor, and the adhesive layer is easy to powder. Temperature higher than 400 a,,f obviously yellow. It is insoluble in water, organic acid, and inorganic acid, soluble in concentrated sulfuric acid, alkali and hydrofluoric acid. Non-toxic, maximum allowable concentration of 10mg/m3 in air.
