These pulleys provide continuous and effective exclusion of ferrous metal from the product flow. It follows the method of permanent magnetic ferrous metal separation which demands the magnetic pulley to be setup at discharge end of the conveyor replacing the existing pulley. A divider plate can also be setup for ensuring that no remixing occurs when the product falls freely from the end of line into the storage bins or processing chutes. The mixed ferrous metal is attracted and held to the face of belt and then carried to the underside of the pulley.
