* General Material: 302/304 stainless steel drum cover with 10 SWG mild steel housing with 2' flanges. Stainless steel housing is optional
* Method of Cleaning: Continuous self-cleaning design
* Magnetic Material: High-density Ceramic permanent magnet is standard. Rare Earth magnets are available
* Nominal Diameters: 320, 400, 500, 650, 800, and 1,000mm and with various face widths
* Rated Capacity: Increases with drum diameter and larger face widths.

The process involved in the making of magnetic drum separators is:
* The material is fed in through the top of the adjustable controller
* A revolving cylinder carries it over a standard rare earth or ferrite, stationary permanent magnet, enclosed in a non-magnetic stainless-steel drum
* The magnetic field draws the ferrous material contained in the product flow towards the surface
