A flammable, Alcohol based refractory coating for manganese steel castings
DESCRIPTION: RSJ -400 is coating material based on Magnesite. Alcohol is used as carrier liquid. The newly - designed binder and suspension system gives this coating material best application properties.
COMPOSITION: Form Supplied - Ready Mixed
Refractory - Pure Magnesite
Carrier - Isopropanol / Methanol
Colour - Light Brown
TECHNICAL DATA: Sp. Gravity 1.5 - 1.6 gm / cc

Viscosity (Ford 4 Cup) 15 to 20 Sec
INSTRUCTION FOR USE In case of large mould/core surface it is recommended to apply
The product in smaller areas at a time followed by immediate
Light off in order to ensure that the coating gets dried fully,
Rather than applying in larger areas at a time.
Mild torch the coating after lighting off wherever necessary, in
Order to ensure complete drying of the coating layer.
STANDARD PACKING: RSJ -400 is available in 50 kg Carboys.
SHELF LIFE & STORAGE: RSJ - 400 has a shelf life of 6 months. Should be stored
in a cool and dry place.
Lids of partly used carboys should be replaced tightly.
