Lozirab is used for treating ulcers of the stomach and duodenum, erosive or ulcerative gastro esophageal reflux disease (GERD) and Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome, for eradicating Helicobacter pylori infections, Non-erosive reflex disease & NSAID induced ulcer. Dosing:For Erosive GERD- 20 mg daily for 4-8 weeks, Heartburndue to GERD- 20 mg daily for 4 weeks, Ulcers- 20 mg daily for 4 weeks, Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome- 60 mg daily in divided dosage, Eradication of Helicobacter pylori- 20 mg with clarithromycin500 mg, amoxicillin1000 mg all given twice daily.
