We are engaged in manufacturing and supplying of Logihair Capsule in New Delhi, Delhi, India. Logihair is combination of Saw Palmetto, Betasitosterol and other vitamins and minerals to combat against androgenetic alopecia. Extracts of the fruit from saw palmetto (Serenoarepens), the American dwarf palm tree. Some reports shown that using saw palmetto with beta-sitosterol results in better growth hair.The saw palmetto berry contains over 100 known compounds. The active ingredients in saw palmetto appear to be contained in the purified lipid soluble extract of the saw palmetto berry. This has been found to contain 85 to 95 percent fatty acids (predominantly lauric,caprylic, and caproic), long chain and sterols (including beta-sitosterol, stigmasterol, cycloartenol, lupeol, lupenone, and methylcycloartenol). Mechanism of action: Saw palmetto is the naturally available 5AR inhibitor. It has a potent antiandrogenic role which shows by inhibiting on both type 1 and type 2 5-alphareductase isozymes. Other proposals for mechanisms of action include interfering with dihydrotestosterone binding to the androgen receptor, relaxing smooth muscle tissue similarly to alpha antagonist drugs, and acting as a phytoestrogen. It also contains Beta sitosterol which helps to prevent hair loss. Studies seem to indicate that it works by stopping the enzyme 5 alpha red.
