1.5 V .25W lamp with minimum 14/8 hours out put having approximately over all dimension 93 x 26 x 12 mm and maximum weight 40 grams with Light units.
Construction :
Life Raft / Life Jacket Sea Cell consists of a moulded polythene container with two activation holes, containing silver chloride and magnesium plates connected to two contact pins. Sea Cell is sealed against wide range of temperature and humidity by insertion of two plugs into the activation holes.
Application :
Life Raft / Life Jacket sea Cell is used as a power supply for Life Raft/Life Jacket Lights as per international requirements of SOLAS, 1983.
Operation :
To activate the cell, sealing plug must be removed by pulling the cord. On immersion in water, activation will take place within 10 seconds. Once the cell has been unsealed and immersed in water it must be considered expended.
Approval :
The Life Raft / Life Jacket Sea Cell are approved by MMD Mumbai, Govt. of India, and
accepted by Indian Navy also.
