Lexon Cheese Winder

Lexon Cheese Winder is a precision take up winder with high-speed magnetic drive. It is specially designed for winding flat tapes used in circular woven sacks, jumbo sacks and tarpaulins. They are suitable for use on any make of tape plant using blown, quenched or cast films of HDPE and PP.

Construction:
The cheese winder consists of a traverse mechanism which slides the thread guide near the contact roller. The roller keeps a contact with the package and swings away as the package builds up. The receding unidirectional brake ensures contact pressure for uniform package build up. The specially designed motor is mounted on the front of the base plate. The rear end of motor is fitted with driving disc. Driven disc is mounted on one end of swing bracket. The other end of swing bracket is connected to the dancer arm through a link. The position of driven disc is adjusted with respect to the driving disc by the dancer arm as the yarn loops under the dancing pully.
