Laser guided tunnel boring is a technique by which a steel pipe is pushed horizontally in the soil by simultaneously removing the equivalent quantity of soil, volume-vise. Cutting and excavation of the soil and pushing of the pipe is done simultaneously so the soil under railway tracks / highways / busy roads are always supported and transportation can run safely at full speed. The equipment is basically in two parts. The first part comprises of a specialized piece of equipment called Boreshead which moves at the head of pipes being installed under the road. The second part comprise of several pieces of equipment which include pushing equipment, Power Units, mud preparation equipment and other auxiliary equipment.

The pipes are installed in the given gradient and line with the guidance of shining laser beam so water or sewer can flow easily by gravity. Pipe dia 1200 mm to 1800 mm Length from 10m to 200m can be installed easily.
