Key Features

KRIS-MERCAPTOSEAL is a two pack polysulphide elastomer based chemically reactive / Oxidation type of reaction product of a very high molecular weight rubbery mass. Base part (part I) is composed of Polysulphide polymer -'Mercaptan or Thiol' (-SH) Functional group terminated, pigments, fillers, additives, plasticisers & functional thixotropes. Accelerator / Hardner / curing agent (part II) is composed of nontoxic metal Peroxide / dioxide, plasticiser (MO2) and additives. When both the parts are mixed together oxidation reaction starts immediately in between mercaptan groups by metal peroxide / dioxide, propagates and ends into a vulcanised (-S-S-) highly elastic /rubbery mass. The cured polysulphide sealant is highly durable, UV Radiation, Ozone Resistant and resistant to temperature variations.
