Kitchen Roll - Application: Cleaning

Kitchen roll is a thick, absorbent paper product used primarily in kitchens for wiping up spills, cleaning surfaces, and absorbing excess liquids like oil from fried food.
It is typically sold in a roll format, with individual sheets torn off as needed, and is often referred to as kitchen paper or kitchen towel in British English.
The paper is usually soft and loosely woven, which allows it to absorb water through capillary action.
Kitchen rolls can be made from standard paper pulp or alternative plant fibers like bamboo, and are often multi-ply, meaning multiple layers of tissue are bonded together for increased strength and absorbency.
The production process involves forming a continuous tissue sheet from pulp, drying it, layering and gluing the sheets together, embossing for texture, and perforating the roll so sheets can be easily torn off.
A cardboard tube is placed through the center of the roll to provide structural support.
While commonly used in domestic kitchens, the term "kitchen roll" is primarily used in British English, whereas American English typically uses "paper towel".
