Operating principle
The distinctive feature of this class of crusher is the two plates which open and shut like animal jaws. This machine is powered by the motor connected to belts. The two jaws are set at an acute angle to each other.When one jaw is pivoted periodically, it swings relatively to the other fixed jaw. Materials fed into the jaws are alternately nipped when the swing jaw moves close to the fixed one. When the swing jaw moves away from the fixed one, the crushed materials will be released to fall further into the crushing chamber. Eventually, the crushed materials fall from the discharge aperture.
