Description
The model 1151E ionization smoke detectors use state-of-the-art sensing chambers and are made to provide open area protection. Model 1151E can only be used with compatible panels. The ability to plug these detectors into a variety of base option extends panel compatibility and application flexibility.
The 1151E has remote LED annunciator capability as well as two integral LEDa s to offer visible indication of detector status. Once the detector senses a fire, it latches in alarm and remains in this condition until it is reset by a momentary power interruption.
The 1151E detector includes a tamper resistant feature that prevents removal from the base without the use of a tool. These detector can be tested by activation on internal reed switch with a test magnet. This test simulates smoke in the detector and performs a full check of the operating circuitry.
