The pump is driven by a motor which is coupled to a reduction gear box of 70:1 ratio through a flexible coupling.
On the driven shaft for cams duly hardened and ground are mounted which drives spring loaded high pressure pumping elements. The pumping elements are positioned in a housing and on the top of it a reservoir is mounted.
