Incentive Type Water Cooled Cable

Our offered Incentive Type Water Cooled Cables are used for connecting Induction Furnace, Arc Furnace, Melting Furnace and Ladle Furnace. These cables are continuously water cooled cable and hence named so. Configuration Water cooled cables are normally designed according to the capacity of the furnaces. The size of the main conductor is directly proportional to the tonnage capacity of the furnace. The main power core consists of pure Electrolytic Grade (min 99.9% purity) of multilayer bunched stranded copper conductor. These bunched conductors are centrally separated to prevent restriction of water flow. Furthermore copper / bronze separators are placed at regular intervals. The main central core is covered by neoprene rubber carbon free hose, which is again asbestos/ceramic glass insulated to withstand high temperature, as faced in these critical areas. The cable is end socketed by forged electrolytic grade copper lugs available as per site application.
