Known as Booster Pump, it is an assembly on a diaphragm tank using DP make, specially developed MEGA controller (logic controller) control panel with upto 6 pumps with a Precharged Diaphragm and a Variable Speed Drive Control Panel. One pump will be on a variable speed drive and the rest on fixed speed.

Initially the variable speed pump start first and start pumping into the system. The pressure transmitter provide the signal to the variable speed drive through the PID controller in such a manner that a constant desired pressure shall be maintained by varying the speed of the motor proportioned to demand. When consumption is more then variable speed pump starts to overload, and one fixed speed pump automatically cut in and the variable speed pump shall adjust speed to maintain a constant pressure. If two pumps are working and pressure still continuous to fall, then third pump automatically cut in and so on. This booster system is suitable for applications with extreme capacity fluctuations.

This system can be equipped with a Jockey pump (only a makeup pump to the main pump). These Hydro Pneumatic Systems are preferred mostly by Hotels, Hospitals, IT Parks, Commercial Complex, Residential Complexes and all type of industries, as they are considered as energy efficient systems resulting in reduction of electrical costs.
