| | Every cylinder block face is machine lap polished to 12 millionths of flatness and is surface treated to allow a thin layer of oil to exist between mated parts |
| | Every valve plate is machine lap polished to 12 millionths of flatness |
| | Every metering and timing notch on the plate is checked and any found out of tolerance are cut to meet specifications |
| | The plate is surface treated to ensure no internal slippage |
| | Every piston shoe subassembly diameter is matched with cylinder bore diameters to ensure efficiency within manufacturer's tolerances |
| | Piston shoe height is checked on each shoe using a micrometer to ensure the component is within tolerance |
| | Each pump is further tested to manufacturer's specification before it is released
