Indication :
For relief in pain, scratchiness, swelling, hoarseness, mild fever and other symptoms of Tonsillitis.
Acute tonsillitis is a common disease among young people. In acute
tonsillitis the onset is often accompanied by chill and aching in the
back and limbs. There is intense throat soreness with difficulty in
swallowing. The tonsils are swollen and red and may show yellowish and
white patches on the surface.
Composition:
Baryta Carb 200, Belladona 200, Hepar Sulph 200, Kali Bich 200,
Merc Bin Iod 200, Silicea 200 in equal proportion q.s. to medicate
globules.
Dose:
Adult: 5-10 pills 3 to 4 times in a day.
Children: Half of the above dose or as directed by physician.
What to do:
- Start taking HV Tonsicon Drops immediately.
- Apply hot/cold applications to the neck the patient tolerates best.
- For hot applications narrow fomentation may be used. Cold is best administered by an ice Collar (ice bag to fit around the neck)
