Conductor Screening :
Conductor screening is provided for all cables above 3.3KV grade in the form of an extruded layer of semi conducting extrusion or semi conducting tape over the conductor.
XLPE Insulation :
High quality XLPE unfilled insulating compound of natural colour is used for insulation. Insulation is applied by extrusion process and is as per IS:7098/(Part-2) & IEC:60502.
Insulation Screening :
The cables rated above 3.3 KV are provided with insulation shielding over the insulation. The screening is provided with an extruded layer of semi conducting compound. Over the semi conducting covering, a metallic screen in the form of copper tape or wire is provided.
