Hot Shield HR is a heat resistant
powder coating based on a silicone
resin, specially developed to protect
surfaces exposed to extremely high
temperatures, up to 600 C, without
deterioration of the film.

of powder coatings as end users have
quickly recognised these benefits,
which directly affect the service life
of the coated product. Standard
powder coatings cant fulfill these
requirements.

and jobcoaters that specialize in
coating coating exhausts, manifolds,
boilers, or any other item exposed to
heat up to 600 C.

Hot Shield HR is characterised by its ease
of application along with excellent
adhesion and corrosion protection. It
can be applied at lower film thickness
compared to standard powder coatings
and in addition, there is no cracking,
delamination or change in appearance
following exposure to heat.
The application of HR powder is usually
done on mildly blasted substrates.
This helps to lower the substrate
preparation costs as there is no need
for chemical pretreatment.
