Hot stamping is a process for hot forming of plates. Special feature: At hot stamping, a plate is heated to a temperature of about 950A C and it is cooled during forming in the tool.

Ideally, we recommend using our special CR7V-L grade with its strength of up to 56 HRC. To guarantee the best possible material properties in this field, this grade is manufactured using electro-slag-remelting (ESR). In some cases, it is also possible to use the RPU 1.2367 material which we carry as standard in our range of products.
