DESCRIPTION :

Range :

For handling large quantities of water/liquids with slight impurities against low and medium heads in general industries, Petroleum Refineries, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration systems, water works, Irrigation, Waste Water treatment, Process Plants, Fire Protection systems and mining. Suitable for liquids having temperature in the range of -10⁰C to 100⁰C.

Constructional Features :

SCT pumps are single stage, double suction, horizontal spindle, split casing type and foot mounted.
Top half of casing is easily removed to allow extraction of rotating unit without disturbing the pipe work. Hence easy for servicing and maintenance. Positive location feature of rotating element permits quick replacement.
Rugged casing design permits hydrostatic test pressure up to 30kg/cm²
Double suction design virtually eliminates end thrust and reduces bearing loading. Bearings are heavy duty, ball type, grease lubricated.
Case wear rings standard on all models. Speeds up to 3550 RPM.

Lower NPSH required in all models.
Common driving modules, hence maximum interchangeability
Changing from gland packing to Mechanical Seal possible, without changing top and
bottom casing, inserts and bearing housing.

Material of Construction :

Available in different combinations of cast iron, bronze and phosphorus bronze for the main components. Special metal constructions for specific applications upon request.
