Honing Stones - High Purity Synthetic Corundum And Silicon Carbide, Custom Sizes From 60 Grit To 1200 Grit

Our offered Honing Stones are manufactured from high purity synthetic corundum (Aluminum Oxide) and Silicon Carbide. We use stone bricks from Carborundum Universal (Cumi), or Grindwill Norton to provide you required sizes and shapes. Our special processes ensures that no properties of the stone is altered.
This enable us to provide you custom sized material with desired quality faster and at fraction of the cost.
We keep range from 60 grit to 1200 grit in major options of material, hardness and sulphureted/non-sulphureted form. Any other material can be provided on special request.

Abrasive types and their application:
SILICON CARBIDE (SiC): Suitable for honing of low tensile strength materials (cast iron, brass, bronze, aluminum and many non-metallic substances)

ALUMINIUM OXIDE (Al2O3): Suitable for honing of high tensile material (ordinary and alloy steels, high speed steel, annealed malleable iron, and hard bronze.
