Thermocouple type 'R' ( pt. Rh. 13%-pt.) & type 'S' ( pt. rh. 10% - pt. ) are used to measure temperature upto 1400C/1600c maximum
Type B ( pt.rh. 6% - pt. rh. 30% or pt. 18 ) are for temperature up to 1800 C maximum
Type C ( thanstn 5% rhenium/ tung. 26 ^ rhen. ) for temperature up to 2300 C Maximum
Type KER 610 - Alumina tube with 60%, 80%, 95% Al 203
Type KER 710 - recry stylised - high alumina tube with 99.5%, 99.9%, AL203
