High Tensile Welding Electrodes
It is heavy coated, hydrogen controlled iron powder type all position electrode giving an extremely smooth arc, medium penetration and least spatter. Produces extremely ductile and crack resistant, radiographic quality welds. Easy slag removal. Deposition efficiency is 115% approx. For welding of high pressure piping, tanks and vessels, earth moving equipment, cranes, girders and rail coaches. Heavy welded fabrications as replacement for castings, bridges, penstocks, pressure vessels, root runs in heavy and restrained joints. Also used for welding in sub-zero temperatures down to -33C.
