It will depend entirely on what you mount on it, how it is mounted at the base, if guys are used and how you plan to extend the mast with the load attached. Our own personal, unscientific experience has shown 5 to 10 pounds of vertical weight is reasonable. Keep in mind, this is vertical weight and wind and/or off-center mountings may cause the mast to sway or flex. Once again, guying and a good base support is highly recommended.
