Growing and developing on the foundations laid by a tightly knit family for more than 30 years, Shahlon Group is a leading textile enterprise based in Surat, the textile hub of India. Looking for a bigger platform to build on the entrepreneurial spirit inherited from their forefathers, our founders arrived in Surat in 1984 and set up a small textile unit with 12 conventional power looms. With the unwavering vision to be a fully integrated textile enterprise, and the strong support from our workforce of more than 2200 employees, we have since expanded into yarn marketing agency, texturising, twisting, sizing, yarn dyeing, weaving, finish fabrics and industrial infrastructure. Built on the philosophy of unity and prosperity for all, we opened the doors to one of our ventures, Fairdeal Filaments Ltd., for the public in 1994 at the Mumbai Stock Exchange. We have continued to grow over the years into a prominent textile group with a turnover of more than US$ 80 million.
