The Kuebler Heavy Duty Encoders are extremely rugged incremental encoders available in 3 versions: encoder with or without speed switch and double encoder. Thanks to the special HD-Safety-Lock construction it is ideally suited for applications in heavy industry, such as steel works and cranes.

Heavy Duty Specials (depending on model):
- HD-Safety-Lock bearing construction for an extremely high bearing load capacity of up to 300 N axial and 400 N radial
- Integrated bearing isolation up to 2.5 kV for reliable shaft connection
- High shock (200 g) and vibration (15 g) resistance
- Build in Fiber optic transmitter for noise free signal transmission up to 2000 meters
- Protection against harsh environment (e.g. Sea water resistance)
