Heat Pad
A heating pad is a pad
used for warming of parts of the body in order to manage pain.
Localized application of heat causes the blood vessels in that area to
dilate, enhancing perfusion to the targeted tissue. Reusable - Water

a supersaturated solution of sodium acetate (CH3COONa) that heats
when the crystallization process is started by pressing a piece of
metal that is embedded in the liquid. Because the liquid is
supersaturated, pressing the metal makes the solution crystallize
suddenly, thereby releasing the energy of the crystal lattice.

The bag is easily heated
by pressing a small metal clip on the inside of the bag. Once pushed
crystals will quickly form inside the bag and heat will be formed.
The bag will heat to approximately 54oC degrees and will stay warm
for up to an hour. Can be used in a variety of ways. Will fit around
most normal arms, over the shoulder, or around a wrist. The bag can
be easily reused by boiling in hot water for about ten minutes or
until the crystals once again turn to liquid. Let cool down and
repeat the heating process the same as to begin with. Can be reused
up to unlimited times. Uses are limited only by the imagination.

How Does it Work?

• To Activate
  
• Snap the metal disc back and forth
  and watch the pad begin to crystalize, producing heat.
  
• To recharge:
  
• Boil water in a pot.
  
• Place the pad on a cloth inside
  the pot and wait approximately five minutes or until all the
  crystals are dissolved, and the pad is completely clear
  
• When the pad is completely clear
  take it out of the water and place it on a cloth to cool down. If
  there is even one tiny little crystal, continue to boil until it
  melts.
  
• When the pad cools down, it is ready to be used again
