Heat Detector - Application: Fire Detection

Digitals Heat Detector is a reliable fire detection device designed to detect abnormal temperature rise and provide early warning in environments where smoke detectors may not be suitable. Available in Fixed Temperature and Rate-of-Rise models, it delivers dependable performance for residential, commercial, and industrial fire alarm systems.

The detector activates at a fixed temperature of 57C or when the temperature rises rapidly at more than 8.3C per minute, ensuring quick response to fire hazards while minimizing false alarms. It is designed for ceiling mounting and operates on 928V DC or battery power, making it compatible with most conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.

Manufactured with a durable ABS plastic housing, the detector features an NC relay output, IP23 protection rating, supports up to 2.5 mm wire gauge, and operates within a temperature range of -10C to +55C. It is ideal for locations where smoke, dust, steam, or cooking fumes are normally present.
