* Can perform successfully in extremes of temperature and pressure conditions. -400"F to 3000"F ; 10,000 psi and vacuum 28" Hg.
* Inert material, can suit every known industrial service in the PH range 0-14.
* Does not harden upto temperature of 6000"F.
* Extremely soft material; does not Scour the shaft or stem.
* Virtually friction-free; reduces the drag on shaft/stem considerably.
* Self-lubricant material.
* No resins, binders or fillers that can leach out or harden under temperature.
* Amazing flexibility and resilience - Grafoil reveals a compressibility of 50% and also a recovery (spring back) of upto 40% on removal of load.
* NO HOT BOLTING required for Grafoil Gaskets.
* No creep. No Cold Flow. No need for periodic precision tightening of bolts.
* Grafoil gaskets are Lifetime gaskets - reusable after removal.
