Our range of Gentamicin Sulfate Injection is a mixture of the sulfates of antimicrobial substances produced by Micromonospora purpurea, the main components being gentamicins C1, C1a, C2, C2a, and C2b. It contains 20 to 40% of gentamicin C1, 10 to 30% of gentamicin C1a; the sum of gentamicins C2, C2a, and C2b is 40 to 60%. The potency is not less than 590A units/mg, calculated with reference to the anhydrous substance. A 4% solution in water has a pH of 3.5 to 5.5. Store in airtight containers. USP 30 (Gentamicin Sulfate). The sulfate salt, or a mixture of such salts, of antibiotic substances produced by the growth of Micromonospora purpurea. The content of gentamicin C1 is between 25 and 50%, the content of gentamicin C1a is between 10 and 35%, and the sum of the contents of gentamicin C2a and gentamicin C2 is between 25 and 55%.
