Gear Coupling is made from Cast Steel, Cast Iron etc in two variant as Full Gear and Half Gear. These coupling ensure greater flexibility because of it tooth formation thru involutes system. It ensures uniform profile and pitch of tooth. Full Gear can accommodate angular or parallel or combinations of both mis-alignments with end float without putting any load on nearby bearing. While Half gear can accommodate only angular misalignment and end float.
