Gear Pump Demonstration Unit - MTS-12070

The Gear Pump Demonstration Unit uses a gear pump, that is widely used of the positive action rotary pumps. Two gear wheels are operational from inside a casing. One gear wheel is driven whilst the other gear wheel rotates in mesh with it. Liquid is transported in the space between consecutive teeth and then ejected as the teeth mesh. This pump has no valves. This positive displacement pump is designed to deliver against high pressures. It can be used for high viscosity fluids.
