Forced Draft Coolers

Forced Draft Cooler is generally used for cooling the gas at elevated temperature before passing through the bag filter or any other dust collector where high temperature gas is not recommended. In this cooler the hot gas is passed over the capsules and cold ambient air is passed through the capsules with the help of series of axial flow fans. The advantage of having axial flow fans is that whenever required as for example in case of lower outlet temperature than desired couple of fans can be shut off as required thereby saving energy. The another advantage of this type of cooler is that the hot air which is coming out of cooler can be utilized elsewhere in the manufacturing process.
