Fire Suppression System
Rapid Action System
The Safefire-Sars Pre-Engineered Automatic Clean Agent Fire Suppression System Utilizes unique flexible detection tubing attached to the top of he cylinder valve. The tubing is pressurized with nitrogen to 195 psig (13.5 bar) maintaining cylinder valve closure.
The detection tubing is temperature sensitive, and acts as a continuous linear thermal detector that ruptures at approximately 100oC
Indirect System
The detection tubing ruptures, the cylinder valve is actuated, allowing clean agent to flow through the two discharge ports on the automatic valve, distributing the extinguishing agent through the nozzles on to the protected hazard in an indirect system.
Direct System
The Detection tubing ruptures in the form of dispensing nozzle, the valve allows the extinguishing agent to flow directly from flexible tube rupture point, on the heat source in a direct system
