Fire Suit - Color: Silver

*Approach Suit: Designed for working in areas of high ambient temperatures, such as steel mills or foundries. They typically provide protection up to approximately 90C (200F) ambient heat and are often made with an aluminized outer shell to reflect radiant heat.

* Proximity Suit: Used in situations requiring closer access to intense heat and flames, such as aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF). These multi-layered suits (often 3-4 layers) offer protection from radiant heat up to 1650C (3000F) for short durations and ambient heat up to 260C (500F). They typically include a hood with a gold-tinted visor, coat, trousers, gloves, and boots.

* Fire Entry Suit: These suits provide the highest level of protection, allowing for brief entry into extreme heat and total flame engulfment, like inside a heated kiln. They feature multiple layers (up to 7) of high-texturized silica fabric and thermal insulation, protecting against ambient temperatures up to 815C (1500F) and radiant heat up to 1650C (3000F).

* Structural Firefighting Gear: Not typically "aluminized" suits, but multi-layered ensembles (jacket and trousers) designed for structural firefighting. They are made from durable, flame-resistant materials like Nomex/Kevlar and include moisture and thermal barriers to protect against heat, water penetration, and other hazards.
