A fire alarm system can detect fire in its early stages automatically by monitoring the area by various techniques. The fastest of all is the optical smoke detectors and heat detector provides fast and reliable response to photoelectric smoke and heat detection, as most of the things inside the office building generate smoke as soon as the fire occurs. These smoke / Heat detectors are wired to a fire alarm panel to which they give a fire signal to particular zone. Apart from detectors, MCP (manual call point) is also provided to indicate the alarm during fire. The fire alarm bells, hooters, flashing strobes are to be offered throughout the building. Microprocessor based fire alarm panels offered a reliable and cost effective solutions to fire detection from small to large size installations which have 2, 4, 6, 8 & could go up to 60 zones of selecting models and features.
