Fedexo 55

FEDEXOa c 55 is a vacuum formed highly Exothermic Sleeve for use in manufacture of Iron and steel castings. Sleeves are manufactured with high quality materials and ensured for maximum performance under our quality assurance dept. The sleeves are available in open and blind type in various sizes with a wide modulus range. Sleeves are available from 1a to 6a diameter and various heights and available in steps of half an inch dia. The process developed for this FEDEXOa c 55 sleeves ensures a low density of 0.55 to 0.62 gm/cc, there by ensuring good insulation and dimensional stability and sturdiness.

Product Advantage: FEDEXOa c 55 sleeves can replace conventional sand risers effectively by reducing the diameter of the sand risers and there by reducing the riser metal requirements as much as 75% - 80%. The contact areas of these sleeves risers are much lower compared to sand risers thereby reducing the cost of cutting and grinding.

The optimum feed characters are achieved because of initial high exothermic reactions followed by high insulation resulting in prolonged solidification of metal in the riser. The solidification time is extended up to 2.55 to 2.90 times compared to sand riser. The feed efficiency of the riser is minimum 25 a 30%
