Faraday Rotator Elements

These Faraday Rotator Elements is the terbium doped borosilicate glass and key component of Faraday Rotators and Optical Isolators for visible and near-IR spectral range in fiber-optic communication system. The polarized laser light will be rotated a certain angle in the magnetic field while going through the Faraday Rotator Glass to prevent the damage caused by the reflective laser light. The amount of polarization rotation is at I,=VHL

H is the axial strength of magnetic field
L is the path length of optical beam in the medium
It is a new important transparent optical glass material in high-tech area. It can be used to produce Optical Isolators, circulators, magneto-optical modulators, optical switches, new generation current sensors etc. Above devices have the characteristics of advance technology, stable performance, high sensitivity, high anti-interference, high insulation etc, furthermore, the size is bigger, but the cost is much lower compared with crystal materials TGG or YIG.
