Extruded Activated Carbon
Extruded Activated Carbon (EAC) is the form of Activated Carbon is designed to be used in the gas phase adsorption applications. Extruded in the form of 4mm cylindrical regular shaped pallets, EAC may be used in a fixed bed absorber using a gaseous stream feed at high flow rates. By the virtue of having significant inter particle voids , EAC offers low pressure drops even at high surface loading rates. In an application, where pressure drop criteria is critical , EAC offers a viable solutions in terms of operating cost and hence overall economy of the process.
