Tar laden gas is introduced into the Precipitator through the bottom.
Gas gets evenly distributed across the entire cross section by passing through single layer of specially designed perforated plate with tubes. The precipitated tar is collected on the surface of the concentric collecting plate shells which flows down and eventually removed from the bottom tar drain.
